Sharon hey this looks like it's made for this blog...

The Hundred Greatest Films

Ok so I don't necessarily agree with all hundred but I love that this is happening in Toronto, and will be going to check a bunch of these out.  Here are a few that I'm particularly interested in.  We should talk and figure out some to go see together.

Amelie
Annie Hall
Citizen Kane
Nashville
Pulp Fiction
Blue Velvet
City of God
A Clockwork Orange
THE GODFATHER
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Rashomon
Taxi Driver

Maybe we could figure out a movie to see every couple of weeks while this is on?

mel brooks, history of the world part 1 an important part of my childhood

this movie i remember more than most things i saw as a child. mel brooks and his piss boy.

History of the world part 1

I wonder if it informed my choice of majors for university...

anyways, sharon if you haven't, you should watch

True Romance

Sharon, True Romance is a good movie made from an amazing script. Tony Scott is a fucking hack, and so there are problems with it, but overall it's pretty awesome. Specifically, Gary Oldman plays an awesome pimp, and Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper (RIP) have a great scene together. It's a little violent.

Watching with my eyes closed

This scene from Pan's Labyrinth frightened me. The film itself has a good script and musical score, but no one told me about the monster with eyeball hands.
